Matthew Hartle

Matt died suddenly on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Matt was the most beloved son of Jane & Rob Hartle and the cherished brother of Jocelyn Hartle.

Matt’s extended family all live in British Columbia: Grandparents, Margaret & Joe Rohan and Molly & Bill Hartle, Aunt Sioux & Uncle Tom and their children Hannah and Ryley and Aunt Barb & Uncle Andy and their sons Winston, Luke and Ivan.

Matt was a successful designer, talented and creative spirit who was passionate about life. Born on Christmas Day, Matt was a gift to all those who knew him. He had a huge smile and even bigger heart and he gave the best “bear hugs” around. Matt loved computers, video games and music, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Matt was an all-around happy, beautiful guy who we all loved very much and who will be missed…4ever.

Matt always loved animals but never had the chance to have one as a pet. Donations can be made to the local Humane Society or to a charity of your choice in Matt’s name.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5-7pm at Westmount Funeral Chapel (1001 Ottawa St. S. 519-743-8900). A private memorial service will be held Saturday midday—please contact Westmount Funeral Chapel for further details.
