Born in Sault Ste. Marie to Herbert and Blanch Singleton, Nancy grew into a woman known for her warmth, elegance, and unmistakable zest for life. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Russell Ansley, who passed in 2009. Their love was vibrant and joyful, marked by shared adventures and simple pleasures alike.
Nancy was the devoted mother of Dionne (Joe) Companion and Darren (Kimberly) Ansley, and the cherished grandmother of Samuel, Kael, Sydney, Ethan, and Sophie. Her family meant everything to her, and she took immense pride in each of them.
She will be deeply missed by her sister Jean McLeod, her brother-in-law Ray (Lucy) Ansley, and her sister-in-law Evelyn Ansley, as well as extended family and friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.
Nancy had a wonderful way of embracing life’s pleasures. She loved to treat herself—whether it was enjoying a glass of red wine, going shopping, or indulging in freshly done nails and hair. She loved to look good and carried herself with a confidence that always shone through.
Nancy and Russell shared a passion for cruising, dancing, and travel, creating countless memories together. She also loved visiting casinos, as well as visiting her son Darren and his family and going on family vacations with her daughter Dionne and her family.
Above all, Nancy loved her family deeply. Her grace, laughter, and spirit will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those who loved her.
