Patricia Ann Cassidy

After on going health related issues, Patricia (Pat) passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday, December 22, 2014, at the young age of 72 years. Beloved wife of Rolland Cassidy. Dear mother of John Penticost (Penny) of Kitchener, Ontario and Katrina Rose (Bruce) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Loving grandmother of Kylie, Brooke, Joel, Jordan, Zachary, Alexandra and Jaxon. Pat was a step-mother to Wayne Cassidy (Kathryn) and step-grandmother to Justin, Kyle and Hudson. Dear sister of Betty MacDonald (Ian) of Merrickville, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Isabel and George Mitchell.

Pat was a caring, loving mother and grandmother. She treasured each and every one of her grandchildren. You would often hear Pat talking about all of their accomplishments. She was very proud of them. For more than 2o years, Pat was also a loving foster mother to many children. Until her death, she kept in touch with many of those children. She will be sorely missed.

Cremation has taken place and a private time of remembrance will be held by the family at later date.
