Rose Marie LaFlamme (Nee Smolak) passed away quietly at Columbia Forest Long Term Care facility on February 16, 2019 in her 100th year. Predeceased by Richard, her loving husband of 47 years. Loving mother of Martin (Nancy) and Kevin (Heather). She will be sadly missed by 3 grandchildren Scott LaFlamme, Stephanie and Lindsay LaFlamme, one great grandson Nathan LaFlamme. Survived by her brother in law Ronald LaFlamme(Angela) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by both of her parents, brother Nicholas, sisters Mary Pozukt and Josephine Palulak, sisters in law Ruth (LaFlamme) Nosal and Sophie Smolak and brother in law Walter(Chuck) Nosal.
Rose was a long time employee of the Waterloo County Board of Education in the Learning Resources Department. We would like to thank the caring staff at Columbia Forest for all of their loving care given to Rose during her stay.

Visitation will take place at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St. S. 519-743-8900), Thursday February 21, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Friday February 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Reception to immediately follow Mass in Church Hall followed by Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
