Beloved wife of the late Alojz Kukac (1996). Dear mother of Kathy Kasunic (Marko) and Joseph Kukac (Tammy). Loved grandmother of Kyle (Joanna), Kristen (Scott), Marko (Andrea), Marina, Tyler (Ambar), and Michael (Emily), and great grandmother of Jake, Viviana, Amelia, and Luka. Predeceased by her parents Mata and Katarina Broz, and siblings Ivan, Barbara, Magda, Katarina, Zorko, and Jura. Verka will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends in Croatia and Australia. Verka's family will receive relatives and friends on at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., with Rosary Service at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
