Blanc, Atha Louise Jett age 99, born December 7, 1912 in Harriman, Tn, passed away June 16, 2012 in Knoxville, TN. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Blanc managed cafeterias for Knoxville City Schools from 1941 through 1975. Preceded in death by her parents Carter O. and Vita Craven Jett, husband Hugh Willard Blanc children Bill Blanc and Charlotte Blanc Nighbert, and brother Jackson Bates Jett. Survivors include children Carolyn Blanc Davis and husband Ralph, John C. Blanc, Tom Blanc and wife Carol, Jackie Blanc McNeal Kerr and husband Mal, brother Conrad O. Jett and wife Phyllis, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of North Haven Health Care Center for their love and care. Graveside services will be held Friday June 22, 2012 at 10am in the Greenwood Cemetery with Rev.
