Betty was such a sweet lady & her sister Jean & brother-in-law Eldon Wishart were out "Bestest Neighbors" for 18 yrs. Now Jean is our "Bestest X Neighbor" ;)
Betty is missed by all who knew her.

I worked with Betty for over 3 years and she always felt like family. She will be missed.

     We were so sorry to hear about your Mother's death.  We had seen this beautiful lady at K-Mart for years and never knew it was your Mother, but she was always so pleasant to everyone.  We miss seeing you and your family and always enjoyed being friends with you when you were dear friends to Sheila and Roy.  Memories like those can not be taken away, so treasure those memories of your Mother also and may God comfort you in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to learn of Betty's passing. I worked with her in the mid 1960's at K-Mart.  She used to fix me ice cream sodas at the snack bar.  She always had such a sweet smile.

I was sad to hear that Betty Jo had passed away. Though I only knew her for a few short years, she will always be someone I remember. She always had a smile, a hug, and a pat on the back to give. A woman of commitment to be married 62 years. A woman of service to be a long time member of Alice Bell. A woman of loyalty to go to the same job for 47 years. I know this is a very tough loss for the family and you will all be in my prayers.

Just "Cling to the beautiful memories".

I had worked in the shopping center with Betty for the past 8 1/2 years. She had such a great personality and was so proud of her grandchildren always talking about them and she would always ask about my 3 children as well. My sympathy and prayers are with her family. She will be greatly missed.

I remember seeing Ms. Howerton at KMart for years.  She always had a smile on her face and was always very helpful.  I enjoyed chatting with her when I was checking out.  She was a bright ray of sunshine.

Walt & I were so sorry to hear of Betty's passing, we had just seen her a week ago at Mac's Pharmacy training for her new job. I always enjoyed seeing her at K-Mart & would tease her about when she would retire. Being neighbor's & friends of Jean & Eldon we saw her at church when we went & Jean would tell me how she was doing.  I know how much Jean will miss her little sister.
