Billie Arlene Childress, age 67 of Knoxville, Passed away on June 14, 2016. She attended West View Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Childress was the daughter of the late L.D. and Mildred Ward. She loved to laugh, loved her family, and loved to cook. She never met a stranger. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Kimberly Childress; grandson Kenneth Austin Berrier; brother, Willie Ward and sister, Janice Berry. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Childress; son Steven Childress and wife Karen; grandchildren: Adara Sellers, Anthony Childress, Jacob Ward and Brandon Childress; along with several loving nieces, nephews and cherished friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25th from 3 – 4 pm in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4 pm.
