Bryan Matthew McMahan

McMahan, Bryan Matthew, 25, of Halls/Powell, soared into the arms of Jesus on the wings of angels on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Bryan was a member of the Powell class of 2003. He was of the Baptist Faith. Bryan was a compassionate, loving young man, a devoted son and brother, and loyal friend to many. Although they were separated by distance, above all he loved his 2-year-old son Zachary. Bryan will be remembered for his fierce independence, his dry sense of humor and his loving heart.

Preceded in death by grandfather, Clifford Branch. Survivors: Son, Zachary Ryder McMahan; mother and step-father, Kathy and Tony Bolton; father and step-mother, Ron and Kathy McMahan; brother Brad McMahan; sister, Melissa McMahan; step-sister, Karen Roessler ; step-brother, James Roessler; grandmothers, Millie Branch and Alys Webb; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Darris Brock, Scott and Sandra Branch, Kyle and Sue McMahan; cousins, Jordan and Daniel Branch, Alisha, Alex, Garret and Keara Brock, Stephanie Garrett, Kyle J. McMahan and Samantha McMahan; special friends, Samantha Brown and Josh Moore.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6-8pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 8pm with Dr. James Robertson officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at 9:45 in the Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 10am interment service.
