Claude Patterson

Patterson, Claude A., age 91, of Knoxville, formerly of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord and his family in Heaven on May 9, 2015. Mr. Patterson was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a graduate of Rule High School Class of 1942. Mr. Patterson was a member of Thorngrove IOOF Lodge and a WWII veteran of the Naval Air Force. He was an active member of Westside Baptist Church and a former member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn. Preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle E. Jones Patterson; daughter, Norma L. Vincent and daughter-in-law, Sheila Deberell. Survived by son, Alan L. Patterson; daughter, Patti F. Patterson; son, Daryl G. Patterson and family and son, Craig A. Patterson and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, Tn. Family and friends will meet for the funeral service at 2pm, Friday, May 15th in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, Rev. Sammy Hooker officiating. The family will gather after the chapel service for the interment at Carpenter’s Campground Cemetery, 3530 Best Rd, Maryville, Tn 37803. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy.
