Daniel Ralph Hodges

Hodges, Daniel Ralph, age 56, of Knoxville, TN was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on January 20, 2014. He was a member of the Claxton Church of Christ. Preceded in death by father, Ralph Hodges. Dan was a graduate of Powell High School and the University of Tennessee and was a CPA for over thirty years. He was a highly-regarded professional and friend to many. His true loves in life were his grandchildren, whom he loved more than life itself.

Survived by devoted mother, Betty Hodges; brother, Jeff Hodges; beloved children, Amanda Hodges, Daniel Brent and Candace Hodges; treasured grandchildren, Devin, Brycen, and Ben Hodges; loving fiancée, Debbie Knapp and many other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Physician’s Regional Medical Center ICU, especially Dr. Hoadley and Dr. Webb.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 – 7 pm with the service to follow at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Tim Forlines officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel on Friday at 10 am and go in procession to Bookwalter Cemetery for the 11 am interment.
