I am so very sorry!  I can't imagine the pain you all must feel.  Denise was always so kind. I enjoyed seeing her when I came into town.   I have fond memories of when we were little girls dressing up as raggedy Ann and Andy for Halloween. I'm   pretty sure my parents still have a picture us.  Though it had been several years since I had seen her  I always felt close to her because of the friendship our families shared. My deepest condolences to Connie and Dennis and her boys! You will all be in my prayers!

I’m in complete shock! Denise I enjoyed our friendship over the years. We had great conversation while you’d cut my hair. Some of the best years of my life was going to the salon on Broadway to tan, your Dad was my highlight of the day with our silliness. You’ll be greatly missed my thoughts & prays go out to your boys & amazing parents! May you Rest In Peace! 💋❤️

Dennis & Connie:  I can't imagine the heartache you must feel at this time.  Our thoughts & prayers are with you.  Denise was an amazing person full of love & kindness for all that knew her.  That, I know, is true because she got that from her precious parents. My heart breaks for you...please know that even though we may not see each other often,  you are loved! Connie and Dennis I’m so sorry for loss. I mostly remember Denise as a child and one thing I know for sure is that she was greatly loved by her family.  My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.

Denise and I shared the characteristic of tenderheartedness. If I could find a way to type the size of Denise’s heart and her love for others in this post I would. However, I believe if you are reading this, you likely already know the size of her heart as it has already touched yours. 

It has been a great honor to be part of Denise’s life for the past 12 years. I met Denise when I fell in love with her little brother. I already miss her laughter, and the sound of her voice as she talked to Bert until his cell battery died (this was a common occurrence). I would hear Bert say, “Denise if something is important, I probably have 1 minute before my battery dies!” Normally the phone would cut off with her telling Bert about something she thought was funny or just telling him about her day. While this always made me laugh because Denise loved to talk, it was apparent those conversations were important to her and they were important to Bert too.

A memory I will always hold inside my heart is how Denise drove Bert to every physical therapy appointment after his heart valve procedure. One particular visit occurred on Bert’s Birthday. Denise was not going to miss celebrating. She somehow managed to decorate the physical therapy room, including the treadmill and Bert, with Happy Birthday signs – she had the entire room celebrating Bert.

I am still lost 4 words and can't believe your gone. We meet threw our sons. You were a great mom to Denson and Shane. You raised 2 great boys that is for sure. I know ur looking down on them.  I'm sure they will make u proud. We had many laughs the last few times hanging out with the kids.  Trying to do senior pics with all them was a blast. I will keep an eye on the boys and make sure Denson keeps those grades up. I know ur laughing at that.  Love u my dear friend till I see u again R.I.P.

Denise was the sweetest and most loyal friend I've ever known.  We could always talk about anything.  She has been my hairdresser and friend for quite a few years.  I could set and listen to her beautiful voice singing for hours. She always knew the right songs to sing for whatever you were feeling.  She is singing with the angels now. My condolences to her mom and dad and Denson and Shane and the rest of her family. She was always talking about her boys. You had one precious moma.  Im gonna miss that sweet voice.

Heartbroken for your sons and family.  The only explanation is that God needed you for his choir and took this beautiful songbird home.  Rest child, you are now celebrating with our sweet Lord.
