Williams, Edwin (Ed), age 93, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. He served in WWII Army 1942-1946, 1st Calvary, South Pacific in Japan. He worked at Southern Railroad from March 16, 1946 till retirement in June 1983. Member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen and a member of Bright Hope Lodge #557, York Rite, 32nd Scottish Rite. Preceded in death by wife, Nan Christine Williams. Survived by good family friend, Margaret Tadlock and many friends and neighbors, longtime friend, Ronnie Hamilton. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Knoxville, TN 37918. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Berry Lynnhurst with Rev.
