BURNS, E.C., JR. - age 77, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at his home. He was a member of Claxton Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn R. Parton. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years,, Kaye Burns; grandchildren, Erica Smith and Brett Parton, Zach Hancock; and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel, a funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Tim Forlines officiating.
