Carter, Eula Faye age 81 passed away peacefully after a long illness, on June 2, 2013 at Physicians Regional. She was a member of Central Baptist Church Fountain City and a former member of New Salem Baptist Church in Clinton. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed family gatherings. She was an avid sports fan with a particular love of UT football and Atlanta Braves Baseball. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Arnold and Reba Hogue, husband Odis Gene Carter, sister Lola Campbell and brother Don Hogue. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Bill Davis and son and daughter-in-law Mark and Julie Carter, three granddaughters Kristen Davis, Katie Davis and Shelby Carter. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7pm. Dr. Mike Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday in the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens at 10:45am for an 11am interment service. Arrangements by Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel.
