Weaver, Garland “David” Jr. age 65 of Powell passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. David retired from KUB after 38 years of service. Preceded in death by parents Garland and Edith Woods Weaver. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Pat Weaver, daughter Casey R. Weaver and grandson Trever Proctor, sister and brother-in-law Pat and Don Paschal, mother-in-law Eula Jean Engle, brother-in-law William B. Engle, Jr., a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and “The Thursday Night Gang”. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7:30pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. A funeral service will follow Friday at 7:30pm with Rev. Dennis Blazer officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday at 10:45am in the Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 11am interment service.
