Glenard F. Harrington, age 80, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was a proud Marine Corps. veteran. Glenard owned and operated Harrington Construction for over 30 years. He was a member of Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, Glenard enjoyed cooking, golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Carol Conner Harrington and parents, Joe and Reita Harrington.
Glenard is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Ann Taylor; daughter, Sally Smith; granddaughters, Natasya Smith and Christine McFall; step-children, Scott (Jocelyn) Taylor, Lori (Jeff) Martin, and Vicki (Dan) Dershem; eight step-grandchildren; one step-great grandson; four sisters and two brothers-in-law.
The graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM, meeting at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 12:45 PM. Service to be conducted by Rev. Roy Scarbrough. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
