Harry’s strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit throughout this journey was a testament to the incredible person he was. After serving in The United States Air Force, he worked 52 years as Chief Mechanical Engineer with Acraloc Corporation in Oak Ridge, TN. Harry was known for his generous, kind heart and his love of having holiday celebrations around his pool. Harry was a member of Green Meadow United Methodist Church in Alcoa, TN and was a 41-Year Mason and member of Cherokee Lodge #728 in Knoxville.
Preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Ailey; his father, Harrison Ailey Sr. and mother, Grace Ailey.
Survived by his children, Anita Walker, Bryan Ailey (Ginger), Teresa O’Mary (Murl); grandchildren, Raelyn Basham, Gracie Walker, Jessica Bobich, Rachel Norton, Kathleen Post, Alexander Toney, Josh Toney, Franklin Darnell; great grandchildren, Mars Williamson, Audri Nichols, Adelyn Post, Austin Post, Wyatt Post, Macy Bobich, Noki Norton; special caregivers, Rose and Kyle Bernadin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on October 25, 2025, at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Dr., Knoxville, TN. Condolences may be offered at www.berrylynnhurst.com
