Cornelius, Harry Willard, age 88, of Powell, TN, born May 13, 1923, passed away July 4, 2011. He was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. Born in Wolfpit, KY. He served in Army Air Corp and Air Force and retired with 21 years service. Preceded in death by parents: Gaylor and Clara Cornelius; wife of 61 years: Rilla B. Cornelius; sister: Olive Detweiler; brother: Roy Cornelius. Survived by: Loving wife, Lucille Sweet Cornelius; brother, Robert E. Cornelius; sons, Lawrence G. Cornelius (wife Angie), Marshall D. Cornelius (wife Diana), Shelby E. Cornelius (wife Patricia), eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery for a memorial graveside service at 1:00 PM Friday. Rev. Travis Henderson will officiate.
