RUSSELL, JACK H., SR. - age 79 of Powell, TN, went home to be with his loved ones on Thursday, June 7th, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia C. Russell. He was born in Knoxville on May 21, 1933 and was the youngest of David and Clella Russell's three sons. Preceded in death by brothers David and Charles Russell. He served his country in the Air Force where he saw many travels before returning to Knoxville to be with his wife relocating to the Powell community to make house and home building a family. Survivors include son, Jack H. Russell, Jr. of Maynardville, TN. Also survived by his brother, James Russell and many beloved nieces and nephews throughout the country. The family will receive friends Monday, June 11th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. There will be a private graveside service on Tuesday, June 12th.
