James E. Bailey

Bailey, James (Jim), of Knoxville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 27, 2015. James was a long time member of Lonsdale United Methodist Church. He was a proud Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also a devoted husband to Dorothy Bailey for 27 years. James is preceded in death by mother, Edith Baker; sisters Annette Walters, Jeanette Enser, Phyllis Rose and a niece Robin Tebow. Survived by children and step-sons; Janet LaForest of Knoxville, Connie Hall and husband James of West Columbia, TX, Pamela House and husband Marty of Knoxville, Patrick Bailey and wife Alaina of Knoxville, David Case and wife Myssee of Knoxville, Dennis Case of Knoxville, and Donald Case of Knoxville. James was a proud grandfather to 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; niece Tami Wilson and husband Glen of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 pm – 7pm Thursday with the funeral to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Rev. Elaine Ruth will officiate. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 11:45am Friday for the 12 pm entombment.
