Janice Lorene Owen Herrell age 79 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday January 26, 2022. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls. Janice was preceded in death by son, Robert Brett French; parents, Charles and Josie Romine; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by husband of 47 years, Ray Herrell; daughter, Donna (Lon) Wineland; son, Derek (Joanna) French; step-sons, Brian (Edana) Herrell and Bradley Herrell; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dalphene Murphy.
The family will receive friends Sunday January 30, 2022 from 11-1:00 p.m. at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be Sunday January 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family requests that all guests wear masks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
