
Judy Sayne Bowman, age 75, passed away on Monday, April, 17, 2017 at Prestige Assisted Living in Loudon, Tennessee. She was born and lived most of her life in Knoxville and was a graduate of South High School, where she played saxophone in the band. Judy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Knoxville, where she taught Sunday School and provided spiritual counseling. Daytona Beach was her favorite place to visit and she vacationed there yearly for most of her life. Judy also loved John F. Kennedy, Elvis, Tom Jones and dancing. She took care of many animals throughout her life and especially loved her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Monroe and Mary Mae Sayne. Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lori Bowman of Ooltewah; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Dan Grant of Ooltewah; daughter, Suzanne Bowman of Nashville; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Alexander and Samantha Bowman of Ooltewah; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Meredith and Nick Feira of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Kelsey Grant of Ooltewah; great grandson, Oliver Joseph Bowman of Ooltewah.
Family and friends will be gathering at STIR at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo in Chattanooga TN to celebrate Judy’s life on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
