June was a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church and a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee, where she earned her degree in elementary education. She dedicated 32 years of her life to teaching, most of which she spent at Bauder Elementary School in Seminole, Florida.
She will be remembered as a compassionate, inspiring educator who touched countless young lives.
Above all, June was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was the joy of her life, and she cherished every moment with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Roberts and Carl William Perkey, and her sister, Teresa Lane.
June is survived by her daughter, Nicole Resmondo; her son, Jeremy Ogle; her son-in-law, Robert Resmondo; her beloved grandchildren, Zoe Resmondo and Lily Resmondo; her sister, Brenda Dye; and her brother, Vance Perkey.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and former students.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12:00-2:00PM at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918.
