Karen Frost is the only clerk woman in United States History who walked up to me in a full open court and said;"Hi,I'm Karen,"shaking my hand.Remind you,I'm an inmate and that is forbben,if not a violation of the rules of ethics.That said,it's not  the first friend i lost while assisting me.You draw your own conclusion.An extremely  brave girl who stood up for what's right knowing the repercussions of reprisal that never wavered in her plightThe best example that a woman can be of which can never be topped.Unless you can shake an inmates hand in a full court room while you're the Judge's Judicial Assistant.This will hurt for along time,if not forever.God Bless Her and all the ones that loved her.Myself,she will always have a place in my ♥.

My name is Lagayle Netherland and I'm just now finding out about Karen.  Oh how I wish I could have attended her memorial.  I was a court room clerk like Karen and she was my best friend. She was so sweet and helpful.  I could count on Karen fir anything.  After I left she was the only one who stayed in contact with me. She had a big heart. Always trying to help people.  I miss Karen with all my hear much love to her family 

To Shirley & the family, I’m so sorry to learn of Karen’s passing. Just found out almost a month after. I have many fond memories of the family & working with Karen at the Courthouse.  RIP, Karen!

It has been some time since I spoke with Karen, but the news of her passing away still saddens me. So many memories of her and John at Western Sizzlin! Good times with 2 wonderful people. Such a long long time ago. She was a wonderful friend and I know her family  is devastated by their loss. Right before the service started today, heavy showers poured down.  Were the Heavens crying?  Or maybe God showing us how He washs away our sins?  I think maybe both. Either way, the bright shining sun came thru and we all got to say our final good byes and hear a wonderful eulogy.  Fly high my friend!


To Yoder & Frost Family’s, 
I was so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. We were childhood friends, we attended Pond Gap elementary school and West High school together. Over the years we lost touch but was able to connect with Karen and Sharon over Facebook. I went to the grave side service this afternoon to say my goodbye’s to dear old friend. I was over welded with the amount of friends who showed up to say there goodbye. While waiting the heavens opened up and poured down , it was like our tears saying goodbye to her, and showing our love! 
But not one person walked away, we were there for our sweet loving friend. Rest In Peace Karen❤️

So sorry for your loss of this beautiful soul.  I loved my times With Karen. What fun we had playing Bunco and going on trips together.  We traveled to the beach, mountains, Las Vegas, Bermuda and Williamsburg.  Those memories  of Karen will always be in my heart.
Thankful that she is  now at peace and no longer in pain.

My wife Paige and I met John, Karen and Kevin when they bought their home in Tower Heights some 30+ years ago. I remember seeing Kevin outside and was so glad a family with a Son moved into our neighborhood for our kids to play with. 
They instantly became close friends ours, going to Ryan’s to eat every weekend and Chris was always our server we also frequented Litton’s in Fountain City often. The four of us went on trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin together, Cherokee and the River boats in Ohio to get our gambling fix.  John and I Golfed together on his days off, we went to NASCAR and Indy car races together. And if we ever needed a favor (wink) Karen worked downtown at the city county bldg. and helped us in many ways over the years. I’ll always remember your Halloween parties in the front yard, Forth of July fireworks at the pool. I also remember building you a new deck on the back of the house. I (We) sure have a lot of memories with both you and John. I’m glad you have your heavenly body and with John once again for eternity. I’m also glad I came and sat and prayed with you for what ever GODS will would be. I knew when I hugged you goodbye that it was probably our last meeting in this life. I just want to thank you for being the best friends Paige and I could ask for. You will be and are going to be missed. But I wave and say Hi Guys every time I drive bye on Adair. Just like have to John all these years. You sure had an amazing ~ (Dash) Love you both and miss you both so much. Godspeed.  

It is with much sadness that I write this note.
Karen was a remarkable lady. She was strong, loyal, professional, all about family, and caring.
I know she is in a better place with our Lord, and reunited with loved ones.
My deepest condolences to all who loved this accomplished, devoted, and special human being.

I knew Karen for a short while before I knew her. I always admired her strong positive attitude.  Enjoyed getting to laugh and talk with her on Saturday evenings when she would set at the table next to me.  In such a short time she managed to leave footprints on my heart. Fred, Sharon and the entire Frost family, Allen and I only knew Karen for a short period of time, but she made a big impact on us. Not only was she fun, happy and a pleasure to be with, she was a beautiful person inside and out. She was also my kindred spirit for we both love to gamble!!!!  We will miss her terribly. As I contemplate the passing of my dear friend, I am filled with sadness for our loss of this strong, witty and devoted woman.  I am equally overwhelmed with gratitude for the  privilege of being her friend and the knowledge that she is now free from illness and in the presence of the Lord. I am very sorry about the passing of Karen Frost. She was a wonderful person. She did a great job at Knox County General Sessions Court and was loved and respected by all.  She will be greatly missed by everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Karen you were just one of my sister that I loved dearly and will miss you so much. Your beautiful smile and energy faught this battle so hard as long as you could. Miss you till we meet again.Prayers for all your Beautiful Family and Friends.
