Howard, Kenneth Eugene –age 89 of Powell, passed away July 1, 2012 at NHC Ft. Sanders. Member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Henry E. Howard and Jemima Howard; brother, V. Edward Howard and sister-in-law, Helen K. Howard. Survived by wife of 57 years, Sue Lovell Howard and faithful and loving son, Alan Brent Howard; nieces, Jane Wilson of Chattanooga, Terrye Danner of Farragut and Pam Lovell of Knoxville. Ken was retired from Knoxville Utilities Board, Water Department. Special thanks to the staff at NHC Ft. Sanders, 1st and 3rd floors and also Caris Hospice for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends, Monday, July 2, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, 2300 W. Adair. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm, Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
