Linda L. Raney, age 81 of Knoxville, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus on December 6, 2025. She was a Christian and attended First Baptist Concord. Linda worked as a bank teller at First Tennessee and United American Bank until retirement. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother who gave selflessly to her family. She will be greatly missed.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Al Raney; son, Charlie Raney, and daughter, Cynthia Raney.
She is survived by her daughter Christine (Greg) Lester; granddaughter, Athena Lester; grandson, Abram Lester and several cousins and close friends.
Family and friends will gather to honor the memory of Linda with a graveside service at Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918, on Friday, January 2, 2025, at 3:00pm, Pastor Rick Lemons to officiate the service.
