Louis Herman Sheridan

Sheridan, Louis Herman (Papaw), age 80, of Corryton, went to be with the Lord, January 27, 2011. He was a current member of Union Baptist Church, formerly of Washington Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a charter member, and served as Associate Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, and Song Leader. He was a long-time employee of Tennessee Armature and Electric Company, where he was Vice President of Sales. He retired from Compressed Air Products. He was a much-loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by parents Louis E. and Laura H. Sheridan; brother, Joe Sheridan; sons, David Duane, Jeffrey Lynn, and James Louis. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Cruze Sheridan; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Cheryl Sheridan; son, Mark Sheridan; granddaughters, Karen Hicks and husband Aaron, Amy Churchwell and husband Joshua, Audrey and Bridget Sheridan; grandsons, Alex Sheridan, Luke Sheridan, and Jonathan Sheridan; great-granddaughter, Katie Lee Hicks; daughter-in-law, Tammy Sheridan; sisters, Dorothy Clifton and Jo Ann Adkins; niece and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Saturday, 6-8 pm. Funeral service, 8 pm, with Rev. Craig Cummings and Rev. John Thomerson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery, Sunday, 1:45pm for 2pm interment services.
