Phyllis R. Nelson, age 58, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Member of Emerald Avenue Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Marie Reed; sister, Mary Ruth Reed and brother, James Robert Reed. Survived by husband, Bob Nelson; sons, Michael Holloway and Thomas Nelson; brother, Johnny Reed and wife Judy; brother, Clyde Reed; sister, Carolyn Jones and husband Ray; brother, Timothy Reed and wife Donna and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Sunday, December 4th at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7pm, Rev. Tom Seay officiating. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 Gov. John Sevier Highway, on Monday, December 5th at 9:15am for the 9:30am burial.
