Ricky (Rick) J. Hillard, age 66, passed away suddenly Thursday, April 28, 2022. Rick was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran during the Vietnam War Era, and was very proud to have been an Embassy Guard in Ghana for Shirley Temple Black. He enjoyed riding his Harley, collecting guns, and feeding the squirrels with his granddaughter, Paisley. Preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Gilbert Hillard. Survived by wife of 38 years, Susan G. Hillard; daughters, Angela Hillard, and Beth Bruner (Zach); grandchildren, Paisley and Case Bruner, Alexis Nelson, Charles Terry, Kailey and Adeline Villa; great-granddaughter, Rilynn; three brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm Tuesday for the 1 pm graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive.
