Sandra Mary Barnt

Sandra Mary Barnt, age 61, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Sandy was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a devoted member of Valley View Baptist Church. Sandy loved her grandchildren, making sure everyone was always well fed, and playing games with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, mimi and faithful Christian.

Preceded in death by her mother, Rosemarie Cwik; son, Jeremiah Barnt; and brother, Ronnie Cwik.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Jeff Barnt; sons, James Barnt, Anthony (Chu-Ahng) Barnt, Jeffrey (Carol Ann) Barnt; daughters, Chassidy (Matthew) Tondee, Juliana (Josiah) Reagan, Katlynn (Aaron) Ridenour; grandchildren,Gracie, Amelia, Mckenzie, Moriah, Felicity, Noelle, Hailey, Christy, Trinity, Siah, William, Aaron James, and Micah; as well as future grandchild, Roxanne; dad, Walter Cwik; sisters, Sharon Ayres and Sue Squires.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Valley View Baptist Church, 3521 Old Valley View Drive, Knoxville, TN 37917. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Jared Shumate officiating. Family and friends will meet at 8:15 AM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for an 8:30 AM interment, 2200 E Gov. John Sevier Hwy 168, Knoxville, TN 37917.
