MINTON, VICKIE DIANNE MONROE - age 49, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Ft. Sanders Hospital. She loved her family and always made her house a home for everyone. We are thankful she will be rejoicing with her Heavenly Father and her dad for Christmas this year. Preceded in death by her dad, William Ross Monroe, Sr.; granny, Naomi Kesterson; and father-in-law: Eddie Minton. Survived by husband of 24 years, Mark Minton; son, Gregory Minton, daughter, Tiffany Minton; and a host of unofficially adopted children; mother, Sue Monroe; sister, Becky Sharp and husband Gary Sharp; brothers, Ross Monroe, Jr. and wife Robin Monroe, Louis Monroe and wife Mary Monroe; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to Ft. Sanders Oncology Floor and Thompson Cancer Survival Center. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Saturday with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Berry Lynnh urst Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Carpenter officiating.
