BLACK, VIRGINIA LEE MILLER-JENNINGS (GRANNY), age 89, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010. Preceded in death by her parents and youngest son, Gary Eugene Jennings; husbands, George Jennings, Sr. and Glenn Black.
Survived by son, George H. “Buck” Jennings and wife, Pat; daughters, Edna Fraker and Sandra Gilliam; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, D.M. Miller; sisters, Juanita Lindsey and Betty Jo McCarty.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Family and friends will gather at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Monday at 1:30 P.M. for a 2 P.M. interment service.
