Agustin Gomez

Agustin Gómez, a native of Harlingen, Texas, passed peacefully surrounded by his family holding his hand from this life on Monday, January 8, 2018. He was born to Jesus Gómez and Margarita Mendez on August 2, 1953 in Michoacán, Mexico. Agustin retired after 42 long years as a Supervisor and Maintenance/Landscaping.

Agustin had a passion in maintaining his garden and his beautiful home that he designed and custom built for his loving wife and three beautiful daughters. He prioritized his time with his grandkids and was there front row supporting their every accomplishment in life.

Left to treasure Agustin’s memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Maria Oralia Gómez; his children, Laura Gómez Melton (Joe), Rosalinda Gómez Morales (Ramiro), Elizabeth Gómez Turrubiates (Raul); grandchildren, Joseph, Victoria, Ramiro Jr., Isaías, Raul III, Moises, LeeRoy and Aldo; siblings, Rosa Chavez and Manuel Gómez.

Agustin was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Gómez; brothers, Antonio Gómez and Gabriel Gómez.

The Gómez family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 a.m. following the burial.
