Alicia Cortez Gonzales

Alicia was born in Cd. Victoria Tamps, Mexico and had lived in Weslaco since 1975. She was a teacher for Weslaco ISD and PSJA ISD for 25+ years.

Alicia is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Gonzales Sr. and her parents Ramon Cortes and Petra Blanco.

Alicia is survived by her four sons, Carlos (Mariana) Gonzales Jr. of Edinburg, Sergio (Veronica) Gonzales of Pharr, Roberto (Mayra) Gonzales of Weslaco, Julio (Yesenia) Gonzales of La Villa; one daughter, Alexandria (Rick) Garcia of Edinburg; 16 grandchildren; and her siblings Paula Green, Javier Cortez, Ramon Cortez, and Mary Ruiz.

Alicia's memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 12PM to 8PM with a rosary at 6PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559.
