Beatriz N. Gonzalez, age 71, of La Feria, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Beatriz Nino Gonzalez will be remembered as a woman deeply devoted to her faith and family. She found joy in her garden and was a skilled seamstress. A lifelong learner, she loved reading and passed that love of learning on to her children. Throughout her life, Beatriz shared her faith in God generously with her family and everyone around her. In later years she treasured the friendships she formed through her Bible study group and fitness classes. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and steady love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Beatriz is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Gonzalez Jr.; her father, Albert Nino Sr.; her brother, Albert Nino Jr.; her sister, Lydia Salazar; and her brother, Joseph Nino.
Beatriz is survived by her mother, Sylvia Nino; her children, Sonia Gonzalez-Donaldson, Gabriel Gonzalez, Isaac Gonzalez, Ruth Gonzalez, and Naomi Gonzalez-Lee; and her siblings, Corina Serrato, Elizabeth Martinez, Diana Nino, Mary Basaldua, Joanna Nino, Angela Nino, Nino V. Nino, and Lory Leal. She was proudly blessed with 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Her legacy of faith, love, and learning continues in the lives of the family and friends she so dearly loved.
A visitation for Beatriz will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a celebration of life at 7:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
Visitation will continue from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with a chapel funeral ceremony to commence at 1:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, located at 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, located at 14166 Business 83, La Feria, Texas 78559.
