It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Belen Salazar, a beloved mother, and friend, who left this world on October 16, 2024. Belen was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of everyone she met with her warm spirit and generous heart.
Born on May 03, 1955, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Belen dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was an unwavering support to her children and stepchildren, always prioritizing their needs and happiness. Her nurturing nature and selfless love created a home filled with laughter, compassion, and understanding.
Belen’s warmth extended beyond her immediate family; she embraced everyone with open arms. Her ability to listen and offer comfort made her a confidante to many. Friends and family alike will remember her for her infectious smile, her encouraging words, and her unwavering belief in the goodness of others.
Belen is survived by her loving children Nereyda Melendez, Leticia Salazar, Alfredo Salazar, Juan Carlos Salazar, and Ruben Salazar, her step-children Roberto Salazar, Diana Salazar, and Ruben Martinez, her grandchildren Jonathan Salazar, Christopher Zamorano, Raul Zamorano, Desiree Salazar, Ricardo Yanez, Zachary Yanez, Scarlett Yanez, Makayla Salazar, Ariana Salazar, Deanthony Salazar, Alfredo Salazar Jr., Noah Salazar, Jerilyn Salazar, Edwardo Melendez, Alexis Melendez, and Maria Melendez. Also including her nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, and countless friends whose lives she enriched with her presence. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will forever be remembered and cherished. She is preceded by her husband Alfredo Salazar, and her parents Bernardo Balli and Elva Balli Solis
A visitation for Belen will occur Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 1PM-9PM with a rosary at 7PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559. A chapel service will occur on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10 AM with a burial to follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
Belen Salazar will be profoundly missed but will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
