

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, David Anthony Vasquez, lovingly known to many as "Anthony." He unexpectedly left us on October 29, 2024, at the age of 47. David was born on May 8, 1977, in Fort Rucker, Alabama, to Julio Jr. and Norma Jean Vasquez.
David Anthony was a father, loving brother, and a dear friend to many. He cherished the time spent with his children, Ivan Anthony, Bryon Andrew, David Anthony Jr., and Ricardo Julio Vasquez. Known for his passion for cooking, David found great joy in grilling and sharing delicious BBQ with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever. His infectious humor and love for bringing people together will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
David Anthony leaves behind his beloved sons, his sisters Jonelle Murjani Vasquez and Julie Anna Vasquez-Lira (Simon), and his cherished nieces, Murjani Skye Mosley, Savannah Machuca, and Madison Jean Lira. He is also survived by his grandmother, Nicolasa Clark Vasquez, who will forever carry his memory in her heart. David is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Vasquez; his father, Julio Vasquez Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Angel Dominiguez Canell and Henrietta Canell; and his paternal grandfather, Julio Vasquez Sr.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home where family and friends can gather to celebrate David Anthony's life and share their fondest memories. A church service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle -3630 Business 77 Sebastian, Texas followed by his burial at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park- 26873 N. White Ranch Rd. La Feria, Texas at 11:00 a.m.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Javier Cruz, Ray Cruz, Simon Lira Jr., Jimmy Lira, Gus Campos, Roli Rios,Nicolas Vasquez and Barney Vasquez. His sons, Ivan Anthony, Bryon Andrew, David Anthony Jr., and Ricardo Julio Vasquez, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
David Anthony's memory will live on through the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He will forever be missed and always remembered.
