Delia Aguilar

Delia Aguilar, cherished daughter of Sergio and Minerva Torres, was born on June 7, 1995, in Harlingen, TX. After her courageous battle with cancer, she peacefully entered her eternal home on February 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at her home in La Feria, TX.

Delia met her husband, Albert Aguilar, in 2013 at Peter Piper Pizza in Harlingen. They celebrated their marriage five years later, on July 28, 2018, and joyfully expanded their family with the arrival of two children: Isabella Grace and Aiden Aguilar.

Beyond her roles as a devoted wife and mother, Delia found joy in attending church, worshiping, spending quality time with her family, and going to the beach.

Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, selflessness, compassion, and a steadfast faith in God. Delia was a radiant presence in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her, and her passing has created a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many others whose lives she touched. We encourage you to remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the vibrant way she lived and the significant impact she had on those around her.

Delia will always be remembered for her warm smile, deep faith in Jesus, and her unwavering dedication to spreading love and kindness. She had a unique ability to make others feel welcomed through her laughter and joy, leaving a lasting impression on all who met her.

Though Delia’s physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a source of blessing, and may we honor her legacy of love and compassion in our daily lives. Our dearest Delia, as you worship Jesus in heaven, know that your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.

Delia is survived by her husband, Albert Aguilar; her daughter, Isabella Grace Aguilar; her son, Aiden Aguilar; her mother, Minerva Torres; her sister, Yanette Torres; and her brother, Daniel Torres. She is reunited with her father, Sergio Torres, in heaven.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, TX, for visitation on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am, with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm. Delia’s interment services are scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2025, starting at 9:00 am at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, followed by a procession that will take her to her final resting place at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.
