Diane Ava Repassy

Diane Ava Repassy, 74, of Harlingen, Texas peacefully passed away surrounded by her beloved sons on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Diane was born on July 18, 1948, in Findlay, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Genevieve Alguire. She was married to Andrew Charles Repassy on July 26, 1969 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2019. Diane is also preceded in death by her sister, Deborah “Debbie” Croft.

Diane was a graduate of Galion High School in 1966. She then went to further her studies at Ohio State University, where she received her degree in Medical Records. Diane worked at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children from 1980 until her retirement in 2013. She enjoyed reading, watching her Ohio State Buckeyes football and shows such as Perry Mason and Mission Impossible, as well as talking about her past life experiences.

She is survived by her sons David (Misty) Repassy of The Woodlands, Texas and Brian (Belinda) Repassy of Harlingen, Texas; her 7 grandchildren Zachary, Brittany, Scott, Ryan, Matthew, Samuel, and Benjamin Repassy as well as her 2 great-grandchildren Anastasia and Timothy; her brothers, Craig (Kathy) Alguire of Galion, Ohio and Hal (Cora) Alguire of Colorado Springs; sister Gwyn (Wyatt) Mills of Northbridge, Mass; and brother in law Gabriel (Nancy) Repassy of Waltham, Mass.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 rom 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559. The memorial service will be streamed via Facebook live for family and friends who can not attend in person. Entombment will be at a later date at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery.
