Dionne Dora Shank

Dionne "Dee" Dora (Haskell) Shank, 90, of Harlingen, TX passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023 surrounded by her children. She was born in Door County, WI on July 19, 1932 to the late Garfield and Rena (Miller) Haskell.

Dee married Donald Ray Shank on June 28, 1958. They were married for 64 wonderful years before his death on January 9, 2023. Surviving are her three daughters, Jody Hay, Lori (Dale) Gwaltney and Stacy (Rob) Reinhofer; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Drew, Sarah, Beth, Taylor, Troy, Claire and Kim; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Simone Kracht; brother, Dennis (Nancy) Haskell; sister-in-law. Delores Dee, brother-in-law, Bob (Bonnie) Shank and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dee was preceded in death by an infant sister, Jean Haskell; son-in-law, David Hay; brothers-in-law, Wally Kracht, Jess Janus and Larry Dee and sister-in-law, Betty Janus.

Dee was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Harlingen. She was a loving, caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved the Lord and had the heart of a servant. Although she will be greatly missed here on earth, we know Dee is now at home in heaven.
