Ezequiel is survived by his wife, Rosa Alma Garza; daughter Janet Sanchez (Benjamin); daughter Elizabeth Mujica (Manuel); son Luis Garza (Lorena); and daughter Brooke Garza; mother Maria F. Garza; brother Irieno Garza, brother Alfredo Garza, brother Leo Garza, brother Elizar Garza, brother Jaime Garza, brother Roy Garza, sister Tere Garza, sister Elsa Mendoza, sister Maria Garza and sister Frances Garza.

Ezequiel was preceded in death by; father Irieno Garza; brother Guadalupe Garza.
