Gustavo proudly served his country for 17 years. His last position in the Army was as a combat medic which allowed him to do what he loved most, help others. However, he didn't only help people, he would help any animal in need, particularly dogs.
He loved fishing, a passion he learned from an early age. His other passions included motor sports and soccer which he played most of his life. Above all, Gustavo will always be remembered by his great heart!
Gustavo is survived by his wife and better half Ariana Tovar; his daughters Aylin Sainz, Mia Sainz, and Elizabeth Sainz; his mother Aleida Cantu Salinas; his sisters Aleida Sainz Peralta and Viridiana Sainz..
Gustavo was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Emma Becerril and Jose Maria Sainz, his maternal grandparents Homero Cantu Trevino and Lucila Salinas Reyes.
