Ines was born in Ejido Santa Ana, Tamps, México and traveled to the Cameron County areas for work as a young teenager until he established himself permanently in Harlingen on or about 1948. It was around that time he met Ana María and in February 1952 they got married, shortly after the family and memories began. Ines Moreno lived approximately 75 years in Harlingen and had plenty of stories to tell to anyone that visited with him. A man with no educational background, nonetheless a very very smart man who was able to carry a conversation about pretty much any topic. Watching news was his thing, he could certainly tell you all about Mexico and US government politics and anything else happening locally or around the world. If you missed out on those visits with him you have missed an abundance of stories, but most of all you missed out on his quiet displays of laughter, love and affection. He was a tough, yet great and simple man. Descansa en Paz Dad.
