Irene Zamora

She is now resting peacefully with her parents and siblings. Irene was a faithful and active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria. In her devotion to her faith, she practiced praying the rosary daily. She worked for Carters for many years, where she was recognized continuously for her dedication and work ethic. She had a beautiful soul and was loved by so many. Her nieces and nephews adored and cherished her as she was a loving, affectionate, and caring mother to them also. Her favorite pastime was playing Loteria with her family and friends. Her grandson Frankie was her life, her world, and her everything. She will be remembered for her kind, loving, and giving heart and as the "Pacon" Lady. Irene is survived by her only daughter Cynthia Zamora Deleon, grandson Francisco Martinez IV, among her other children Javier Arturo Esquivel, Joel Anthony Esquivel, and Yolanda Esquivel. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Angel and Estefana Zamora, brothers Emilio Zamora, Eleazar Zamora, Jose Zamora, and sisters Evangelina Zamora Dominguez and Lile Zamora Esquivel.

A visitation for Irene will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N White Ranch Rd, La Feria North, TX. A rosary will occur Friday, September 10, 2021 at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 502 S Canal St, La Feria, TX. A burial will follow Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 14166 US- 83 Business, La Feria, TX.
