Jose M. Sotuyo

Born on August 24, 1945, to Maria Machua and Mauricio Sotuyo, Jose grew up with a passion for life, music, and the outdoors.

Jose had a deep love for music, especially the melodies of Ramon Ayala, which filled his home and heart with joy. His happiest moments were spent dancing with his beloved wife, Maria Lucia Sotuyo, to whom he was married for 43 wonderful years. Together, they shared a life full of laughter, family, and countless beautiful memories. Whether dancing to their favorite tunes or enjoying time outdoors, Jose and Maria found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria, and his loving children, Lupita Sotuyo (Jesus Lemus), Sandra Sotuyo (Hector Garcia), Araceli Sotuyo (Guadalupe Lemus), Diego Ledesma, Abraham Ledesma, and Carla Ledesma. Jose was a proud and caring grandfather to his grandchildren: Eleana Lemus, JD Sotuyo, Lyli Lemus, Mauricio Sotuyo, Miranda Garcia, Kassandra Garcia, Annalise Lemus, Jacob Sotuyo, Eva Garcia, Daniel Lemus, Leah Lemus, and Maria Lemus. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Machua and Mauricio Sotuyo, whom he now joins in eternal peace.

Jose will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for music, and his joyful spirit. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to bring smiles to those who loved him.
