Juan R. Gonzalez, age 40, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2019. Juan was born May 5, 1979 to Marilyn Rivera and Ramon Gonzalez.

Juan was a loving father and husband. His family was everything to him what he loved most in life. He had traditions with each of his children with his daughter Jamie, he loved watching scary movies and loved watching Ghost Adventures with her. With his sons he would play video games with them. He loved cooking for his family he would have BBQ's outside while he was cooking the kids would play with their dog. He would have date nights with his wife Jamie spending time with her. Juan touched many lives he will forever be missed there will always be something missing in our lives now that he is gone. Until we meet again.

Juan is survived by his wife, Jamie Mejia Gonzalez; son Miguel Ricardo Nunez; son Juan Angel Miguel Gonzalez; daughter Jamie Evalyn Gonzalez; and son Evander Anthony Gonzalez; father Ramon Gonzalez and mother Marilyn Rivera; brother Jose Gonzalez. Juan was preceded in death by; father-in-law + Miguel Mejia; brother + Jonathon Gonzalez.

Visitation for Juan will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will occur Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Gonzalez family.

Damn sarge I just heard the news. When you first got to our unit your first priority was taking care of soldiers. You put them first like a real NCO would do. Your personality was genuine It’s disheartening hearing the news. My condolences goes out to the family during this tragedy and watch over your family brother. Rest easy 😢.

My dearest cousin, in this short yrs that we meet u were a special person. Im thankful you and my cousin met. You were and will always be an amazing person in my life. You touch so many peoples lives. We will miss you every day that passes but like they say its not good bye but ill see you later and we will. There are no words that can truly express the sorrow of so many people because of this loss. You helped a lot of people and we all will be in great debt to you.
