He was born March 21, 1962. Juan Ernesto graduated from La Feria High School. Ernie also worked as a office manager in Finance in Austin.
Juan Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents Severino and Eva Medellin, brother Hector S. Medellin, sister Elida Torres, and grandmother Benita Garza.
Juan is survived by his sisters: Lilia (Roy) Longoria, Irma Quintero, Ofelia (Oscar) Ozuna, Mary Soto, Sally Fernandez, brother in law Mike Torres and Aunt Virginia Gonzalez.
Juan Ernesto who was also affectionately known as “Ernie” or “Uncle Ernie” is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
The family is forever grateful for the kindness and care shown by his provider Josefina “Fina” Quezada.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Heavenly Grace Chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
