Maria Dolores Gonzales

Maria was born in Mercedes, TX but lived all her life in La Feria, TX. Maria was a devoted mother and hard working parent. Her work ethics were unbelievable, migrating to California to work and then returning to the valley to continue working. Her passion was cooking, gardening and having helped raise two of her grandchildren. Later in life she attended La Esperanza Day Care in La Feria TX. which she enjoyed immensely. St Mary's Catholic Church in Santa Rosa is where she worship for over thirty years and then at El Divino Redentor in Harlingen for about two years.

Maria is survived by her daughter Sylvia G Flores (Beto), twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

She is perceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Salvador Gonzales, her siblings Alberto, Habel and Simona, and her children Raul, Jose Ma. and Oralia.

Maria will be missed by her family and her family and friends.

A funeral service is scheduled for Monday May 24, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Rd La Feria, TX 78559. A funeral mass on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Queen of Peace in Harlingen, TX. Burial to follow at 11:00 AM at La Capilla Restlawn in la Feria, TX.
