Miguel "Cuco" A Valles Ramos

Miguel nació en Tlahualilo Durango, México el 15 de abril de 1955. Fue el segundo de once hijos de Josefa Ramos y Miguel Valles.

El asistió la primaria en Pamplona Durango y la Secundaria en Tlahualilo Durango. Miguel y sus hermanos perdieron trágicamente a sus padres a una edad muy temprana, lo que los obligó a comenzar a trabajar. El trabajó en los campos, manejando equipos para trabajar la tierra, la construcción, brindando servicios para cortando el césped, y servicios mecánicos y todo lo que se interpuso en su camino. Él siempre apoyó a sus hermanos y hermanas cuando lo necesitaban y nunca dijo "no" a una persona necesitada.

Miguel vivió en México durante los primeros 35 años de su vida, luego se mudó a San Antonio, Texas, donde se casó por primera vez. Después de enviudar, se casó con su esposa actual, Alba Martínez, y se mudó a Harlingen, Texas. Durante algunos años, Miguel y su esposa fueron miembros del Centro Cristiano La Feria en la Feria, Texas. A el le encantaba practicar deportes, especialmente béisbol y fútbol y ver los partidos el fin de semana. Miguel era una persona muy noble, siempre sonriente, muy amable, cariñoso y muy divertido.

Su familia, amigos y vecinos están profundamente afligidos por su partida a la presencia de Dios. Será recordado por todos nosotros como “Cuco” -su apodo desde niño--, y extrañaremos por siempre su sonrisa, su voz, y su presencia!

Miguel dejó a su esposa, Alba Martinez; sus hijastros Lourdes Martinez; Maribel Martínez y Pedro Martinez; sus hermanas Ofelia Valles, Laura Valles, Florencia Valles, Hortencia Valles, y sus hermanos Wilfredo Valles y Abel Valles.

Miguel falleció luego de sus padres Miguel Valles y Josefa Ramos; sus hermanos Juan Valles; Gabriel Valles; Aron Valles y su hermana Angeles Valles.

La visitación para Miguel se realizará el sábado, agosto 19, 2023 desde la 1:00 p.m. hasta las 12:00 a.m. con un servicio de oración a las 6:00 p.m. en Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.

Miguel A Valles Ramos, 68, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on August 16, 2023.

Miguel was born in Tlahualilo Durango, Mexico on April 15, 1955. He was the second of eleven children born to Josefa Ramos and Miguel Valles.

He attended primary school in Pamplona Durango and secondary school in Tlahualilo Durango. Miguel and his siblings tragically lost his parents at a very young age, forcing them to start working. He worked in the fields, driving farm equipment, construction, providing lawn mowing services, mechanics and everything else that got in his way. He always supported his brothers and sisters when they needed it and never said "no" to a person in need.

Miguel lived in Mexico for the first 35 years of his life, then moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he was first married. After being widowed, he married his current wife, Alba Martinez, and moved to Harlingen, Texas. For a few years, Miguel and his wife were members of La Feria Christian Center in Feria, Texas. He loved to play sports, especially baseball and soccer, and watch the games on the weekend. Miguel was a very noble person, always smiling, very kind, affectionate and very funny.

His family, friends, and neighbors are deeply grieved by his departure into the presence of God. He will be remembered by all of us as “Cuco” -his nickname for him since he was a child-, and we will forever miss his smile, his voice, and his presence!

Miguel leaves behind his wife, Alba Martinez; his step-children Lourdes Martinez; Maribel Martinez and Pedro Martinez; his sisters Ofelia Valles, Laura Valles, Florencia Valles, Hortencia Valles, and his brothers Wilfredo Valles and Abel Valles.

Miguel was preceded in death by his parents Miguel Valles and Josefa Ramos; his brothers Juan Valles; Gabriel Valles; Aron Valles and his sister Angeles Valles.

A visitation for Miguel will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
